Steel or rubber?

Picked these two bands up this week for my duro. One is an oyster bracelet and the other is a rubber Barton band. Which is your favorite?

Both look good, but I love the textured black rubber paired with the blue and red. Where’d you get the bracelet?

·

I like the steel!!

·

Rubber is better 😁

·

I lean towards the rubber. I think that Silicone strap from Barton is good for casual wear, I have a few of them. For a little more upscale look with a rubber strap I suggest checking out Hirsch straps.

From a seller on eBay. It’s not a super high end strap. I think somewhere around $15. But for dressy occasions it pairs well.

Rubber, oyster bracelets are too clunky.

Agreed, but they look amazing. For a few hour fancy event it’s worth a few pulled hairs😂

I go steel, however I am a big fan o rubber!

My same Duro is on the president though…..

Bracelet for sure. But if you are in the water or jogging etc the rubber has its place.

If I’m jogging I’m wearing my f91w😄

That's fair!!!

Nice Barton strap. I am eagerly awaiting a silicone elite strap from them.

You won’t be disappointed. Most comfortable strap ever. Makes the duro enjoyable to wear!

·

I like the bracelet. I currently have mine on a Barton strap similar to yours but I am not feeling it. I actually did not mind the OEM strap but liked the two tone Barton ones looks til I got it on the watch. Now not so much. I have a rally style rubber one coming. Gonna see how that looks. I may wind up with a bracelet for it.

My vote goes to the steel

·

Steel over rubber like 90% of the time.

·

Steel!

·

Definitely the steel.

·

Steel for the win

·

I love your rubber band but someone looks abit unnatural compared to the steel band. Steel Band and your duro look like happily ever after🤣

·

Oyster bracelet 100% it's fully functional with anything you wear from a suit to a pair of shorts and t-shirt.

·

Steel matte though

·

Both look gooood. But metal ultimately

·

Steel for me. I have an Alixp. jubilee and prefer it to rubber personally. The oyster looks great.

I've just gone back up to your picture before posting my comment. You know, they both look good. I'm no help at all am I 😂

Enjoy both!

I have the jubilee bracelet for my Duro, I don't think I like it on anything else. The bracelet is perfect

·

IMO it looks better with SS bracelet. I usually go for rubber only if it matches case shape so there is no space between strap and case ( two diff examples on my Hydroconquest here ):

Steel all the way, but a few vintage watches (as well as some modern ones) look good with a strap.

·

The rubber barton band sings!

The Rally strap came today. I like it a little better than the Barton. If it had the red liner like the Barton that would be the bomb.

I like the oyster! Looks so good.
