This Horological hero has his Birthday today, so let's see pics of your Space watches.
Extra kudos if it's a Speedy

I met him a few years ago on his book tour. Talk about The Right Stuff, the man is a force of nature. Does this count?..

Lucky chap, an absolute hero!
Yes, it counts - that's the one I'll get one day. Very cool 👍🏻👍🏻
Great watch. Aldrin has an inspiring story
Lunar pilot and Speedmaster

He started the show with a video of him scuba diving in the Maldives. I believe he was 82 or something at the time.

It was a great evening. He's quite a character. If you get the chance to cross paths go for it.
It’s the obvious choice but with added lume

I need to get one of these just so I’m not trotting out my speedy every time a space watch post comes about 😂
G Shock square - icon of the NASA shuttle program.
Go Buzz! My favourite astronaut!
Love this guy. Not sure if the story is true but I heard he was signing autographs (when he was in his 70’s)and a flat earther was challenging him that he was never on the moon. Buzz ended up punching the guy in the face before he was escorted out. Like I said my buddy told me the story. Hope it’s true😂
I saw it on video. He was in a hallway being seriously harassed by an idiot moon-denier and finally Buzz lost his temper. Rare that a public punch in the face is widely considered acceptable, but this was one such case, and how!

That’s amazing! Yeah I coach up young people to never no matter what to resort to physical violence. But Buzz gets a pass in my book!
With space shuttle Discovery!
Ok then he is certainly certified. For all the alarm versions Fortis recommend Kunke in Germany or Fortis HQ Grenchen Switzerland. Take no risk for this beauty
Appreciate the info! I certainly do not object to paying for servicing regardless of what the watches cost. Have a great day!

Same, I’m eyeballing these too.
All the Apollo 11 astronauts on the top then Buzz's inscribed book gift to Thomas Paine and Tom's wife Barbara. Tom was the head of NASA during the first moon landing.
I acquired Paine's personal library, office material and space models. It was due to my getting the Paine collection that my wife bought me a Speedy and that Omega opened the door to watch collecting.

Wow, thank you for posting 🚀👏🏻👏🏻😁
I met Buzz back in 1983 when I was in junior high. He came to our school and gave a presentation on the Apollo mission. I was and still am a big space geek. He was a true gentleman and took time with all of us, answering questions etc. They say don't meet your heroes but I'm so glad I met one of mine. My wife knowing this bought me the Moonwatch for my 50th. To say I was over the moon wouldn't be an exaggeration!
