The turtle case is ugly. The strap is green. Has loads of fauxtina. It has an X on the dial. It is nicknamed Wierd. It costs an arm and a leg. Last but not least, it is a lowly Seiko. Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it, Do it!!!! 🤪
You're the second person to list Seikos available for cheap from Japan. Just checked the same site and the 62 Mas (SPB 143/ SBD 101) is $751 and the green dialed (adult) Alpinist is $455. Is this normal or is this because the Yen has dropped in value so much relative to the dollar?

I ordered one too. It was the version with the PT5000. Seriously, how does one buy the original Seiko when you know the bezel won't line up (lol) and the Chinese copy has better quality and movement? for $150 total?!

Argh. I just ordered a watch which is coming in a week but now want to pick up the Alpinist and 62 Mas too. Don't think my wife would be as understanding if I suddenly got 3 watches at the same time but she does love a deal. Time to start the 5 day program of softening her up for the extra purchase (might get one more but probably not two).

Yeah due to the exchange rate that’s the main reason why, it’s so tempting to grab nice pieces in Japan right now..
