Dangerous trip to the mall today

Dangerous trip to the mall today with my son, fortunately my wife wasn’t with me. I have grown to like the Omega sea master, I thought 42mm might be too big but it felt good on the wrist. The Omega SA was really helpful and he said you get more watch with the Seamaster than the AT Love the sector dialled Longines. Also Tudor Black Bay 36 and Ranger was nice but it wouldn’t scratch the Rolex Explorer itch.

Wow I hadn't realized how big the Ranger looks compared to the 36. That's helpful, thanks!

Well, I'll join the chorus of people saying they should really make a 36mm version. It's too big for the kind of watch it is, IMO.

That Longines is interesting. What’s the size of it? And RRP?

I was really skeptical about 36mm wearing too small, now I think it is okay. Black Bay 36 felt great on the wrist and wasn’t dainty at all.

38.5 mm £2030

That Longines looks awesome! I’ve always wanted to love the AT but then when I see it in stores something just doesn’t click. Having said that the Seasmaster does look good on you.

·

What “more watch” does the SMP offer over the AT? Is the AD referring to the peanut butter cup at 10?

·

The black longines on the bracelet is on my short list and that seamaster did look good on you.  I want the green version but I think I’d put it on the steel mesh version that came out.

He’s probably referring to the cheaper MSRP and the enhanced water resistance. Plus, he’s looking at the 300m on a bracelet versus the AT on rubber.

I tried the Seamaster on the other day. And it has such a solid feel. I was really impressed!

Wearing it,  Changed my brain about Omega!

·

A word of warning. I fell for the SMP in an AD. So beautiful and will made. If I had my time over again I’d go AT. The SMP just too big.

·

yeah... I would not risk putting on Longines on my writs... Even as a joke... It might turn into impulsive buying very quickly...

·

That Tudor 36 look really good on your wrist! Somehow I still have to see if the Seamaster is good for me. Love the Longines, but my OCD seriously flares up when I see numerals being cut off by subdials…

·

All nice, but I LOVE the Omegas.  Tried the AT 38 and found it crazy comfortable (6" wrist) and compelling, and to my mind a lot of watch.  I think the Seamaster looks great on you; may be a matter of color? That white dial really pops in a special way.

·

I had to go back and try on the Seamaster again to get it out of my system. It didn’t work🙄

·

I have a BB36, and it's a great watch. However, I don't think I have ever bought a watch from a shop

I wore a 36 Datejust fopr over twenty years and it never felt small until recently when watchs starting to get bigger. I put it on now and it does feel small. JMO
