Hamilton x Dune 2 Screening
Hamilton sent me the new Ventura Dune Edge plus tickets to the early screening of Dune 2 last night. The watch is very cool but polarizing. I like it for its tie in but not for everyone as it is also large! Quick recap here:

Totally! Uses the same hybrid LED as the PSR which means it's on 50% brightness at all times until you press the crown and it goes to 100‰ 😎

Good movie. Nice watch. But very weak tie in/product placement.
The prop doesn’t play any role in the movie. (I guess it is supposed to resemble a paracompass?)
I only noticed it one or two times and when I did, it felt out of place. Doesn’t fit to the rest of the costumes at all.

Agreed. It follows the book pretty well, about 80-90% depending on how you grade it. Beautifully shot, well acted wil excellent effects. IMAX is the way to see it 🤗

But seriously, I work with my region's brand managers because of my Instagram. I'm usually one of the first to get my hands on new releases and also get invited to their events. I'm a lucky guy, I know!
Cool! Of the two, the Edge is the one I like more but agree that it's polarizing and that's even before considering it's $2500 USD price tag. I'm a fan of all things Dune starting with the books and including the original 1982 movie adaptation.
