Seamaster 300 Heritage vs. Black Bay 58

Probably the bb58 for me. I like the dial on the Seamaster but I think there is too much polishing in the bracelet for my taste

perhaps we live in an echo chamber due to being online but I feel like I see the black bay all over the place and everybody and their cousin has a 58 or a 54 or a 41 and raves about how good it is

in that respect I feel like the omega has more character and is more unique. You probably won't find someone wearing that exact variant of Omega as you at a watch meetup. There'll be three people wearing a black bay 58 at the such a hypothetical meetup

SM300 if you got the on the fly adjustment clasp. Its all about comfort. Both are fantastic picks.

I have a black gmt, but I don’t own an Omega. I am not about to risk my wife asking don’t I have that watch; I am going for the Omega.

I used to own both the Seamaster300 heritage and BB58 gave the 58 to my younger daughter but when I had both, feltt the Omega was far superior watch to wear, BB was ok but did feel like a second brand watch. The clasp on my 300 failed but probably was my fault, repaired under warranty, while I was at the Swatch service centre decided to purchase a OEM mesh bracelet makes the 300 look totally different, vintage worth the expense. The mesh bracelet will also fit my SMP.
