The Tissot Prx is a great watch for beginners I have the 35mm quarz model and I love it.
There's also a more expensive automatic version wich is bigger with a 40 mm diameter.
Could you describe your taste of watches, what exactly are you looking for?
You're right the watches are quite similar, if not nearly identical. It's just a thing of personal preferences, but I don't want to show any political statement with my watch (because of the red star on the dial). But it's the history of the seagull 1963 and also wich makes it great. So if you like the original design more, go for it!
Hi, I would recommend a watch I have on my own wishlist: the Sugess Panda Chrono:
As you can see they're quite affordable and have the beautiful looking seagull 1963 movement inside. They come in different sizes, the 38mm is still quite big with a lug to lug of 47 mm... But I think the watch is definitely worth a look. You can find various videos on YouTube about this watch.
You can also check out Ben's watch Club on YouTube too, his wrist is quite small too and he recorded various videos about small watches.
Hope you find the perfect watch.
Cheers
