Are "Undone" Watches good?

Hi Chrunchers, when scrolled trough the internet looking for some watches (what else lol), I saw this website called "Undone Watches". The special thing about them is that you can customize their models turning it into your dream watch. But are they worth it? Have great day chrunchers!

Haven’t tried them myself but the guys on about effing time did an episode about good and bad microbrands and all of them were pretty negative about Undone. Like I said never tried them myself but I haven’t heard anything else about them.

I have no experience of them in the flesh. What I have heard about them is mixed. But a friend whom I trust has just got one and I believe he likes it. I link his recent post @Stricko Flunced, stalked and (Un)done https://www.watchcrunch.com/Stricko/posts/flunced-stalked-and-un-done-29664

It's a cool vintage looking watch with a modern movement, I did a write up on it as Droptuned83 said, have a look. I like mine and if you can get over some of their shady practices, yes a nice watch.

I got this a couple years back and it's very well made. No problems at all. Delivery can take awhile but worth the wait.

Define “good”?

Define “good”?

With "good" I basically mean that a watch is worth the money. The quality of the finishing should be reasonable and the overall experience (including packaging and the costumer service) should reflect the price. Hope that could define it for you. Have a nice day.

I will.

I have hands on experience with the brand as an owner… but we’ll park that for the time being.

I see them more as a fashion brand. They’re very focused on how watches look; either letting you customise the watch, or offering one of numerous licensed products with the logo of some property slapped on the dial. Not as much focus on what actually makes them a great watch. Accordingly, I’ve never taken them seriously as timepieces.

Less than a year ago, they offered the seagull st19 on their chronographs. I feel they've made some buzz back then that is now not justify at all.

·

I'm a big fan. Solid build quality and I've has zero issues with all of mine. They've also been around longest in terms of microbrands.
