How do you consolidate watches?

So I’m currently at an impass. I’m starting to get to the point that I want my watches to each hold a specific role. For example, instead of having 2-3 divers, having just 1… This has opened up some i...

Choose between Seiko SPB143 or Aquastar Model 60

Zephyr. Extremely well built and comes with 2 straps for go with any suit. Plus it’s movement is more reliable and has a great track record.

If it’s GADA you want than go with the GS.

I say that because a GADA (in my opinion) should be capable of swapping from straps to bracelet etc. the PRX by virtue of its design really can’t.

Personally, I also think GADAs need dials that fit with all colors of straps, such as black, white or silver (I’m biased because of my SPB279).

Blue to me, has always been great for divers or sports watches.

Looks amazing! What’s the size the watch?

That wears well on you! What’s your wrist size?

Thanks! I’d prefer it to be 38mm, but no such thing as a perfect watch! Your OP is a stunner. Beautiful dial too!

Technically the Lorier model you picked isn’t a diver. But they do make fantastic pieces.

Steinhart makes nice watches, albeit more direct homages.

Personally, I say keep the Seiko. It’s a true ISO-rated dive watch. Maybe buy a new bracelet from Uncle Seiko to breath some new life in it?

Traska actually makes good watches. Easily the most comfortable bracelet I’ve ever worn and their scratch resistant coating really does work as advertised.

That being said, I am selling my Traska. It turns out, 3/6/9 dials just aren’t for me.

If anyone wants a 36 Summiteer in black to round out their collection, DM me.
