Looking to finally add one to my collection, which would you pick and why?

I’ve got a blue dial Omega Aqua Terra and love it. Would recommend trying them in the metal

Man on the moon

·

railmaster, its more beautifel and more gada

·

The panda colour combo in my opinion is over done so id have to go for the black dial. Thats just my opinion though buy what makes you happy, what jumps out to you?

·

I’d go for a seamaster but I prefer the aqua terra or the previous 300 as I’m not a fan of the sword hands .

·

I just got a #seamaster Diver 300M last month. It wears so well. I’ve been looking at Railmasters and just haven’t been blown away in person. Pick which one brings you joy. They’re both great. Person preference is the white dial on the Seamaster.

·

I love the diver 300m, in fact I own 2 😁. Seaweed Green and 75th Anniversary Summer Blue. If you want sporty, go for the Diver, if you want a more classic look? The Aqua Terra.

·

I would go with the seamaster over the railmaster. Personally, I find the railmaster to be quite bland for its price (I’ve seen it in person and have tried it). That’s just my opinion though, buy what you like 👍🏻

·

Seamaster all day everyday.

·

Railmaster. Less common, and more interesting. Both great though.

·

Easy call for me 😂

·

Seamaster. But I’m biased because I have green one.

·

Of these two, I find the Railmaster more interesting and better looking. Put a green or blue dial and a rubber strap on the seamaster however…

·

Railmaster, looks better.

·

NO HEV, EVER!

I recently bought a Railmaster, and have the Seaweed SMP300 as well. What sold me on the Railmaster versus a different watch was being asked, “Will you be able to get it in a year?” Since the Railmaster is discontinued…maybe not! So I grabbed one while I could. No regrets. They’re both awesome, but one will still be there in a year. Will the Railmaster?

That’s my exact thought right now regarding which to pick up first to be honest

I say go for it then. It’s a bit of a sleeper, but that just makes me love it more. Super nice GADA watch. Tough as nails, and good looking too!

Also do we think an update to the Seamaster is coming soon?

Don't know one way or the other, but they did do a Paris 2024 SMP release for the Olympics so I'm guessing there won't be any new design changes this year, though who knows if they do a new material release

·

Both beautiful! Between these two I would pick the Seamaster to start. It would add something to my collection that isn't already met by another watch. Down the line I would probably pick up both, but to start I would decide based on which excites me more, and which one "elevates" my collection. Looking forward to the NWA!

Get the one really trips your trigger regardless of what we say, is my advice. If you’re still deadlocked get the one that will get the most wrist time, if you’re in an office environment I’d recommend the Railmaster, if you’re not in an office I’d suggest the Seamaster. Your decision should make you feel happy, not anxious, you can’t lose with either one, so cheers!

·

Ohhh whichever one you want more.

The SMP 300 is awesome and I have one.

Not until 2025 at the earliest. I have a feeling the Seamaster and Aqua Terra will get a big update on the next year or there, if nothing else than SPIRATE regulated movements

·

Of those two, the 300, blue dial or the white or NTTD. But if I ever buy an Omega it will definitely be an Aqua Terra with a teak dial.

·

Of the 2, railmaster, Omega's answer to the explorer, will go with almost anything except a wet suit.

·

The SMP is high on my list so that would be my choice. I like the hands on the Railmaster, but that's about it. It just seems too bland for my taste.

·

Railmaster, but in blue.

I like the look a lot more, I'm a sucker for a railroad track.. Though I do love applied indices... But I love the brushed blue dial with the brown seconds hand.

Technically you could do some diving with the Railmaster since it is rated to 15 bars of water resistance, same as some vintage sea masters and the aqua terra, but yeah it would not be the ideal application

·

This one is not close, but there are features on each that I love. The polar dial and the handset of the Seamaster are stunning. The thinness of the Railmaster and the how crisp and clean the dial are makes me smile. I would prefer the sandwich dial with the broad arrow hands, but the Railmaster is the winner.

Seamaster Professional. I'm a bit partial because I have one and it's amazing! But I like it because it's a good all around watch. I've worn my watch to business events, casually, working out, and many other activities. It's an all around great watch imho. It would also be part of my 3 watch collection if I could ever get to a three watch collection haha!
