Which one to pick?

I’m seeing a lot of comparisons lately between these two watches, and wanted to pick the brains of maybe some of you who may own one of these watches! Looking to add one of these to my collection shortly!

I prefer the Railmaster. More distinctive.

·

I would go for the Omega , even as a Tudor fan

·

railmaster dial is stunning

·

I was also considering both, ended up getting the Tudor, and then ultimately sold it because I didn’t like it over a longer period of time. I say Omega. With the ranger I felt it was too big (and I have a 7.25 inch wrist) in my mind due to the negative space on the dial. The fact that the omega is a little smaller and has a slightly more refined look thanks to the brushing and dial execution, makes it a better watch. Today I would def go with the omega (though I ultimately ended up picking a GS over the Ranger and there’s just nothing to compare. The GS is levels above both Omega and Tudor). IMO, the Ranger has so much potential though if it was smaller and had a more elevated dial then it would be an even more amazing watch.

The railmaster looks too good for me to ignore

·

Rail master. But Ranger has the better clasp. Unless Omega has updated it.

That’s the only thing, is I believe the ranger does have the better clasp at the moment

·

I think the omega looks better and arguably has the better movement, but the longer power reserve with the Tudor ranger shouldn’t be ignored. There’s times when I’m about to leave in the morning and notice my railmaster has stop an hour or two ago (after wearing something else the day prior)

·

Omega for sure.

·

Omega. Not a Ranger fan.

·

Railmaster is what I have my eye on as a retirement gift to myself. I like several Tudors too, but not as much as the Railmaster.

Railmaster 💪

·

I have the Ranger. Great watch and bracelet especially in warmer weather give its adjustability. However, the Omega wins on looks.

·

I’m team Ranger forever at this point. The simplicity is the point with the Ranger. It’s the center of the design. The Railmaster feels like it wants to be more. It wants the applied indices. The Railmaster is a great watch for sure, but the Tudor feels a bit more ‘bare bones’ and that’s a big part of the appeal for me, but it isn’t for everyone.

·

Style Omega, bracelet Tudor. Overall package slightly leaning to Omega

·

There is no winner here they’re both terrific watches.

If I were choosing I’d go with the railmaster only because it’s more distinctive than the somewhat more generic ranger.

I don't think this is a fair comparison. The Omega is going to win this, but is significantly more expensive than the Tudor. I'd rather pay more and get the Railmaster, if it was a choice between these two.

·

OMEGA

Much better movement and I prefer the looks.

But I do like the Ranger 😉👍🏻

·

Whilst the dial is a touch busy, and for some reason, the name sounds a bit nerdy to me, the Railmaster is technically the better watch. It’s probably also more versatile.

The Ranger speaks to me more, aesthetically as a purer field watch - maybe a little compromised for dressier occasions.

I am biased- Railmaster because I own one!

@BraedenCounts what do you think?

I’d take the Railmaster in a heartbeat

·

Out of those I would go with the ranger, but what I would actually go for is the blue denim railmaster.

·

Railmaster, for me, the omega got a better dial

·

Omega Railmaster

·

Railmaster.

One of the best ⌚ buys.

Looks good and well built.
