My wrist photography skills aren't great and it always looks like the watch is larger on my wrist than it actually is. I comfortably wear 42mm watches and own a couple of 46's. Whenever I go smaller from a 42 down to 39, there is a period of time where I look at my wrist and think the smaller one is too small. I know it's nonsense, but it's just how my mind processes it. I appreciate the kind words that it looks good on my wrist.
I definitely get that. I was drawn to this one because of how much it looks like an Explorer II and my favorite dial for that one is the Polar so the desire to have a white dial GMT is there for me as well. But I agree about the premium... probably not worth it right now. Maybe the price will come down a bit in the future.
