I picked the Cyma. 37 mm case sizes were rare in that era, most watches were under 35 mm.

I've also selected Cyma because of the size and the rarity of the model.

Cyma has the better case, my choice literally boils down to that as I find both are superb. I have handled both, and Iโve nearly pulled the trigger on a Cyma back in the day.
Vertex must win this one. ๐ค
Not sure of Cyma, truthfully I havent heard of them. Leaning towards vertex for the history and the british brand!
Iโm going Vertex. Mostly because I want the new 36 model coming out soon, D-Day.โ๐ป

Great one to have Rusty
As a collector of vintage watches for over 30 years, having owned quite a few chromed WWII watches (as steel was scarce), I would definitely choose the Cyma. Have wanted one for years. Chrome over base metal/brass does NOT hold up well. And the larger size is cool.
Vertex is so dang awesome and well spec'd, so it gets my vote even if prefer if it came in a smaller case size.

Vertex's modern offering is quite impressive
Vertex, wasn't aware that Cyma did a modern version. What's the price on it?

Vertex's modern homage is around ยฃ2,500
This was a tough one. I went with Vertex. My deciding factor is the 15 second markers in the sub dial. It's all about legibility. Also, I would love to have the reissue ๐
