Thank you! It's taking me some time to get used to it being so light, being of the old fashioned thinking that heavy = good. The finishing is lovely though, despite a few little scratches here and there (the reason I got it comparatively cheap). I can't get over the dial. It's like thick paper that you'd imagine a beautiful invitation being printed on.

Yes, I think I agree about it looking better on the strap (well... they are NATO's in the pictures actually 😬). I have it on the bracelet at present as it gives it a bit more weight, which I'm just more used to. It's more comfortable on the NATO too to be honest.

It's a Cartier Tank Francaise Chronograph with a Chronoreflex movement, which is a jeweled quartz movement by Piaget.

I agree. I'm not sure what to make of it either yet, but I love that it's unusual. I think it's a bit sporty... but I still treat it like fine porcelain and take it off to wash my hands 😆

You're not wrong with the clear case back idea 👌 I can't think of any high end quartz that displays the movement, unless a Grand Seiko does it somewhere 🤷

I have to admit, the macro shots on the camera picked up a lot more detail than I can see with the naked eye. It revealed a whole new hidden beauty of the watch.
