Thanks for the vid! I actually may make a purchase of this kit...but first I will see if I win ;)

But seriously the kit is impressive for the price. And I actually like the dial on the watch, kudos to DIY for the offering.

I like it and can totally understand someone picking one up.  That said, I have mixed feelings about it.

To start,  I am not loving the 39mm width. I’d really like it to be 37mm, which complements my wrist as well as 37 just seems more fitting for a vintage style Field watch.

I have two other minor complaints,  photos of the watch taken in bright sunlight makes the black dial appear washed out.  And my last complaint is the red tip on the seconds hand, not a fan of that. 🤷🏽‍♂️😅

I hope this helps, looking forward to your review!

I hear you completely. I like the Ranger and can see its charm but it only increases my appreciation for my BB36.

Yes, I’m sure it happens to most of us! I will sometimes go for weeks without an Instagram post. Watch very little watch content on YouTube. And then, later, without even trying to, I return to it and my enthusiasm returns. I think like the moon, my interest waxes and wanes. I think it is kind of normal. 😅

commented on what do you guys think of glycine airman ·

I have owned a Glycine Airman. Good watches as long as you don’t pay full retail imho (they don’t really hold their value very well). I like the brand’s heritage and they make many handsome watches. Good luck with  your decision!

  • Beautiful watch but like others here, I feel it’s just too big. 38 mm would have been ideal.
