Just wondering how many here also have an appreciation for this Seiko gem!
Weeks or months will go without wearing, then I’ll pick it up and be smitten all over again.
To me, it is such a handsome piece, looking (and performing!) ten times what it costs.

OK. So this thread has made me realise that I NEED a SARB017 so I'm now scouring eBay and chrono24. So, um, thanks for that....? (Wish I'd bought one before they were discontinued)
I often think if I had to pick one watch and no others, the Sarb017 would be the one, it’s my mainstay of the collection.
That is a great strap. I just ordered this watch and am waiting to get it in. I keep hearing about the given strap, so I have been looking for alternatives. Thinking about going with a cordura strap as I do not see many water resistant leather straps for an affordable price.
