Love WWI Trench watches...most of mine have come from Stan @LRFAntiqueWatches who specializes in restoration of WWI era watches and has written at least three excellent books on the subject.
Here are some of the watches in the collection...
One of my colleagues had a Bambino that fell apart on him. He tried to get it repaired but it was terminal.
I thought it would be a nice gesture to replace his Bambino with another one from my collection since mine doesn't really get any wrist time and he'll be wearing it every day.
Contrary to what @Porthole and @Aurelian might believe, I do not have every brand of watch...and most certainly not any MB&F in the collection.
The style of MB&F, HYT, Ressence, Trilobe, Urwerk, etc. just don't connect for me. I'm not even a fan of FP Journe...I know gasp...sacrilege (to think I could have been purchasing them when they were a somewhat realistic price).
I'm more of a traditionalist.
However, I always enter the MAD lottery just to remind myself why I never gamble, since I have yet to be selected from that lottery which is a population much smaller than any other.
