It's really hard to be a watch enthusiast in Korea (even tho I live in Japan, most of my friends are Korean since I'm from Korea). Sure there are way more passionate enthusiast than me in Korea and Korea even have an internet community like Watch Crunch to chat about watches but I never met one irl.
What makes worse is that, when I say "yeah, and I also like to collect watches!" in Korea, most peoples' reactions are, "oh wow.. isn't it expensive?" / "I bet you are super rich." / "so you want to brag about them?" Then I just become some random guy who wants to flash my money or make myself bigger than really am via watches 🤣(I'm not saying watches are cheap but we all know it's not just about money!)
So, I usually go to watch boutique or AD shops in Japan/Korea when I want to talk about watches. Even yesterday, I went to Tudor and had a lovely chat with the dealer about w&w new releases 🙂(I made sure if he or she is not busy haha)
Mine is 43mm and my wrist is 6.77 inches! You can definitely feel the weight but it fits really nicely so it never bothered me :)
I also considered 41mm models and was pleasantly surprised to find out that 41mm didn’t felt like it was brimmed with all those infos in the dial. Breitling nailed the ratio! I went for 43mm just because I wanted to have tad longer hour index at 3, 6 & 9 o’clock haha
