I purchased a San Martin BB36 as my first Aliexpress watch, from what I've seen San Martin is the best of the best on that site. Homage and quality wise, San Martin seems to be really good, I've enjoyed my piece.

I started with an Invicta Pro Diver and now my collection has grown a ton.

I love researching watches, I have a couple ideas you might like to look into for your next watch.

  1. Citizen Diver (this one is automatic)

Citizen Promaster NY0125-83E 

I came across this watch listening to a podcast that I cant remember, it's a bit of a chunky watch but seems like a cool option, roughly $270 on amazon. This watch is also a JDM only model

2. Seiko Speedtimer (alternative)

Seiko SBTR02X 

This is another JDM only watch line, specifically called the "Spirit Selection". I recently ordered the SBTR027, which looks extremely similar to the Seiko Speedtimer (SSC909P1) for a mere fraction of the price($170 vs $400-$675), the difference being the movement, mechasquartz vs. Solar Quartz.
