Probably the Coolest Post I will ever make on here
Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas.
I started to get further into Formula 1 around the same time that I began my deep dive into watches. Around that time I was gifted a 2006 Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch reference WAC1113.BA0850.
Today, Tag Heuer sponsors my favorite F1 team, Red Bull Racing, which includes my favorite driver, Max Verstappen.
The race yesterday was historic, Max Verstappen tied the overall record for race wins during a season with 13, after winning the Drivers Championship last week, and Red Bull secured a win for this seasons Constructors Championship.
I had the best time at the race and this relation between my watch, my favorite team and driver, and the history that I witnessed first hand is an epic story I will always cherish. I will never be parting ways with this watch!

What a fabulous story about a man’s connection to his timepiece! It’s often forgotten by the stewards of very old…very vintage watches that they were once owned by someone who may have had his very own connection at one chiseled point that also drove-in an indelible mark.

Do you want a red one? 😂 It’s got the leather and red Tag strap and the nice sporty red silicone after market. I might even have the metal bracelet still. The rubber bumpers are still in good condition. I can throw in a Tag box, it’s not the box, but it’s good.
