I was browsing Amazon and looking for a good deal on a AE-1200 when suddenly this thing popped up.
O M G...
it's just like a the faceplates on one of the fancy Hi-Fi stereo receivers from the 70's that I lusted after when I was a kid. I can almost see myself trying to use it as an FM tuner to catch the latest hit parade.
It's so gaudy and retrofugly that I had to be physically restrained before I bought a whole bunch of them on the spot. Yes I want the gold!! It has tracks on the display, goddamnit, tracks!!

They do one in a similar style that has a built in infrared remote control. Given the price of a second hand Casio, they’re possibly worth it.

I can’t unsee that, but it’s sort of ugly cool. Definitely a conversation starter! Maybe not a great watch to wear to your first date/job interview/first dinner with future in-laws sort of watch 😂

I refer you to my review of a very similar model by Lige. I doubt the Skmei is any different. On AliExpress you can get it for about half the Amazon price.
I swear, this thing pops up whenever I'm absently minding searching watches on Amazon, and I'm tempted every damn time. Do it, and tell everyone how bad/awesome it is. Take one for the team.
Honestly, the design is kinda good. If this were from Brew, it would be sold out immediately.
