NWA - Vintage Omega Seamaster

Due to a USPS mixup, I thought this one got lost in the mail almost a month ago, but it arrived in perfect shape today! ๐Ÿ‘Œ It's my second vintage purchase and my first birth year watch as well as my first Omega. I love it! โค๏ธ

Omega Seamaster 30, ref. 135.007, dated 1966 (yes, I am old ๐Ÿ˜‰). It's manual wind with a sweeping second hand. 35mm dial in matte black, fully serviced and restored.

I'm so excited to share this news with my watch family here, who totally get it. ๐Ÿ˜Š No one else I know appreciates watches. May you all have a lovely week filled with many great seconds, minutes, hours, and days. ๐Ÿป

I got this from Connoisseur of Time on eBay. They are located in Georgia, USA, and are highly rated on eBay. This was my first purchase with them. If you check them out on eBay, you'll see they have some gorgeous vintage pieces... not cheap but beautifully restored and serviced. They sent a ton of specs, care instructions, and authentication with the watch. Packaging was top-notch. All that for no extra charge in my case. The delay in delivery was due to a huge USPS snafu and not the seller's fault. The seller was great through the whole thing. So, my experience with the supplier has been very good.

A while back, I got a vintage Seiko from Monica's Watches on eBay and they are in Japan. Not the same level of specs, authentication, etc with them, but a very affordable piece and I have no complaints about the watch.

I'm curious if any other vintage enthusiasts have more recs. I have heard good things about Girards.com but have never purchased from them.

Thank you!

Yes, 1966 and ref number is 135.007.

It doesnโ€™t look dated at all, just as fabulous as it was the day they made it if not more so now because we know itโ€™s vintage and your birth year!

I'm curious as to how you vetted this watch, early on in my collecting journey I bought a vintage Seamaster that was definitely a Franken watch and I never went back to vintage.

ยท

Sensational!

ยท

Looks fabulous.

One of the prettiest vintage Seamasters I've seen. Wow. Where'd you buy if you don't mind?

Found this seller on eBay and researched their feedback, history, how they describe details in listings and post photos of the back and inside of the watch cases, etc. They provide proof of authenticity and a warranty, have a great professional history and 100% positive feedback. Also, eBay is good about refunds and handling disputes, so with all that I felt comfortable buying this one. I hope you get to try vintage again and find something legit and enjoyable in the future. ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations on a great purchase,classy watch enjoy.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Very very classy, gorgeous watch

Congratulations! I have a couple of vintage Omegas and I love them. That one is gorgeous and a black dial Seamaster is on my wish list. It's really hard to find vintage watches with black dials that are in good shape, so good for you. Is it a 34mm? That is currently my favorite case size.
