@Achenar Share it! I want to see your Bond watch photo!
@jason_recliner It kind of depends on the day and what I'll be doing. On most days I carry a bag, primarily for my Fujifilm X100V camera, sketchbook and art supplies. The pouch in the main image of this post lives in that bag and carries most of my EDC gear. A knife goes in my pocket with my keys.
Days I don't have my camera bag, I carry smaller gear, and less of it. Usually it's something like: keys and knife in the right pocket, small flashlight in the watch pocket, phone goes in the left pocket with a pen, and wallet in back right pocket.
Oh, and of course, my watch. 😀
@Achenar 100% Agreed on both. It's crazy how people get so hung up someone sharing a photo, both the gatekeepers and the safety karens. I just have to laugh.
@Robinwatch You're in good company! I think most of us who find the EDC hobby always carried various gear without really thinking about it. Then we discovered it has a name, and there are like-minded enthusiasts. A good place to learn more is the Best Damn EDC channel on youtube. I've found some amazing gear though his channel and had some great discussions on the EDC Facebook groups.
@mpower5266 You're right about the cultural thing. Many European countries won't allow any locking blades, so it's more of a slip joint and fixed-blade world over there.
It's interesting the differences in what people carry and are into. Like you, I tend to just carry the EDC standards. I have a sneaking suspicion most other collectors do to, except for photo opportunities. I'm certainly guilty. I enjoy photography, so I started carrying small bag and always have my camera with me. I'll keep a few of the more "pocket art" items in the bag, but usually to just grab a quick EDC photo. Really, who's ever gong to actually use a knuck? On the other hand, when I started consistently carrying a hank, I was surprised at how often I use it.
