WotD: Boldr Venture - Any titanium fans out there?

Unfortunately, this is my only watch with a titanium case. Hopefully, I'll have more in the future as I love the look of titanium. Beyond looks, it's a huge noticeable difference in weight. If you've never worn a titanium watch, I suggest trying one out. You forget you're even wearing a watch. Feel free to post photos of your titanium case watches below. I'd love to see them!

Great watch, @CascadiaEDC !  Looks so no-nonsense and purpose-built.

As someone with a nickel allergy, I‘m a big fan of titanium, which is hypoallergenic.

I also prefer the lightness of the metal, especially for chunkier watches like my Citizen GMT diver.

The low thermal conductivity of titanium is an additional plus, so the metal feels “warmer” on cold days and vice versa.

The downside of titanium is that it’s more expensive, scratches more easily and harder to polish/brush than steel.

That said, on balance if given a choice between steel and titanium, I’d likely go titanium.

@s0ckpupp3t Nice Citizen GMT! I love the two-tone blue and white on that guy.

Had a few titanium over the years but currently don't have any in the collection. Just haven't found one I've properly clicked with.

@Cdfaltz That is a stellar Omega! Nice!

This titanium field watch from Swiss Watch Company is awesome! It's about 34 grams on the supplied strap. You hardly even know you're wearing a watch at all. The ARK is $199. They also have a larger automatic with a SW200-1 movement.

Budget brand Lorus  does a couple of titanium cased watches, i think the cheapest one is only about £30, ok as a "tryout"....

I'm a big fan of titanium. I currently have a Boldr Venture Field Medic and a Citizen F990 (which is highly polished and pretty impressive).
