7 Watch Challenge, Take Two

OK, let’s try this again. This challenge is based on the one watch challenge offered by @Aurelian and sponsored by @WatchCrunch. When I had finished reading the 1WC I felt like I would look like this at the end of the challenge.

The 1 Watch Challenge has been an interesting contest so far, and a lot of fun, and I will be following to see who can last the longest, but it still really leaves me and others who cannot stand the idea of only wearing one watch per day, let alone one watch for an entire month, on the outside watching and cheering. So, I came up with my own contest for anyone who would like to participate. Unfortunately, the first starting day passed with only one person posting all seven watches, @PopitonaNATO. He selected the Citizen Chandler, and we are planning to get it shipped to him. When I posted the winner, I got some comments from @Ichibunz, @TonyXXX, and @realretroguy. They had not realized the contest had started, or that there was even a contest, so I am going to offer it again, for them and for anyone else who wants to participate.

The 7 Watch Challenge is to wear at least 7 watches per day for as long as you can 🤣, and get a wrist shot of each watch. Beyond that, there really aren’t any rules. Of course, I would like to see some time elapsed between wrist shots instead of seven wrist shots within ten minutes, but you are free to decide how long each watch will be worn.

Unfortunately, you will need to have at least seven watches in your collection to participate, owing to the nature of the challenge. Since posting that many wrist shots individually might not be a good idea; we will do one post with all seven. I will create a post with 7 Watches Day 1 etc. each day, and you can post your 7 wrist shots there.

This contest is in no way sponsored by WatchCrunch and I take sole responsibility for the silliness of it. 😂 I am offering a prize for the person who can last the longest; a watch out of my own collection. Either this Fossil Grant,

or this Bertucci DX3.

If neither of these watches appeals to whomever wins, we can discuss some other options from the odds and ends box in my collection.

Contest will begin on Monday, June 20th.

I was thinking the same thing! I'll be Trainmanning it on Monday.

Fantastic my friend and thank you for starting your contest again, it's appreciated. I'll have to wear the 7 watches outside of the 1WC challenge, so after wearing 1 watch for 8 hours it will be time to start swapping them out.

This could be very interesting and possibly confusing as well, plus working 12hr shifts I'll more than likely have to take the watches to work, to which I'm sure to get some strange comments from my co-workers. But that's okay, they already think I'm mad for collecting watches anyway 🤣

I will not be taking part as I don't want to wipe the floor with you all 😎

·

I’ll likely try to take part. Though I may have to travel at some point this month, and taking piles of watches may not be possible.

·

I can do that even a whole day

Strikes me as a good way to train up your non-dominate arm lol

One of the challenges was to keep so many self-winders going. They get so little wrist time that they do not charge their power reserve. I suppose, this is the one time in my life where the watchwinder proves useful.
