What does it mean?

Another cryptic email from Christopher Ward! This one just says “Lightness”. Does that mean light in terms of weight, or light in terms of brightness?

My best guess right now is a titanium skeleton twelve.

@Mike55 help us out, brother!!

Lol … no

Is that a vintage space/upper atmosphere helmet?

And maybe a moon rock/meteor?

Seeing as meteor and space are back in vogue at the moment, some type of lightweight meteor dialed Chrono?

·

Could the second picture a quartz crystal? Or perhaps it could be a meteorite and follow the space theme? 🤔

·

Or a racing helmet.

Either way chrono-ish is my guess.

Chunk could be carbon fiber maybe. It's definitely 3D extrapolated or enhanced a bit due to the shading and sharp details.

Compare the helmet x-ray to the chunk of whatever. Some type of backscatter, MRI, computer modeled composite. Maybe multiple X-rays stitched together and still finished by modeling.

·

Oh mike knows 🤣🤣🤣

·

Is that a plastic bag meaning recycled material? 🤔

·

My guess is an updated Colchester, which is their super-lightweight carbon watch associated with paratroopers. The current model has the old logo and is in the site with a late April 2024 pre-order button.

It’s a fantastic, unique watch that never got the attention it deserves and I’d love to see an ever-so-slight update that uses the newer logo and removes the medallion from the caseback, which added unnecessary thickness. And if that’s the case, my credit card is ready.

·

Looks like a parachute and space / aviator helmet. Something to do with weightlessness / anti-gravity / titanium / space, is my best guess. If it were Swatch with such an ad then I would’ve guessed recycled plastic (oops, bioceramic) salvaged from space debris/ waste.

Police riot squad helmet and empty bag of fish and chips.

"ACAB" limited edition made from recycled chip wrappers - proper English 🤣🤣🤣

Just had some, lovely 😁👍🏻

It pretty clear to me that CW is obviously set to announce their first intra-brand colab with Vostok.

I'm guessing it's titanium (lightness, and it's a chuck of titanium), it's skeletonized and/or has a sapphire caseback (X-ray images), and it has something to do with racing (helmet)?

·

Clearly it’s a solid gold 12, duh. What we have all been asking for! 🙄

It’s a titanium rock (I think… 🤔💭)

·

That's easy: they are launching a skeletonized, quartz version of the Twelve 🤣🤣🤣

Just kidding... No idea what they have in mind, except that's something with the XII

·

Could the chunk be ceramic?

·

Titanium Chronograph Twelve is my guess.

·

When it comes to sending marketing emails, restraint is far from being one of their strong suits and I had to unsubscribe.

·

@Mike55 we will not tell anybody 🙈

·

Translucent Chronograph

·

Definitely an SH21 inside.

Um... I thought we covered this. It's Steve Austin using his Xray Eye to check the hermetic seal on his space helmet

Swatch X Twelve!

Swelve! 😝

·

I love these marketing campaigns :)

·

A limited edition Twelve advanced enough to nearly rival the Bel Canto.

That's the best I can piece together from CW's recent Loupe email, the helmet photo, the ice photo and parameter names in the URLs of their campaign emails.

Looking forward to Tuesday!

·

Well we already know it's a 12, likely with a Skeleton dial and probably a new version of the SH21 movement from this picture.

What the "crystal" and the helmet mean are beyond me.

Looks like a quartz crystal, i.e. silicon. Maybe SH21 with silicon parts?

Was anyone in the advance preview this afternoon? I was signed up but it clashes with me driving home from work so I couldn't tune in.
