PRX = Nickelback…….????????
I HAVE AN OPINION and that’s okay. If you don’t agree, move along.
I have a PRX. And I love it. Sometimes after reading comments about the PRX I feel like it gets treated like Nickelback. They have nothing but great songs and a good dude fronting the band, but people hate them because social media tells them to and they don’t have a good reason. “They’re Canadian” or they think “all their songs sound the same.”
The PRX gets the same treatment in my opinion. It comes down to this. People don’t like what’s popular because it’s “cool” to not like it. “The integrated bracelet style is just garbage, but I like it on this watch!” Or “The vintage throwback style Im not a fan of, but check out my Casio from 1982!”
Now, as the owner of a PRX and a singer/songwriter I feel strongly about these two things. I do think that the bracelet could use some micro adjustments. It does pinch occasionally when the weather gets warmer, so micro adjustments would be great, but other than that it’s a beautiful watch. No watch is perfect and for the price point I cannot complain.
The PRX is an acquired taste. Like Nickelback is an acquired taste in the music world. That is all.

PRX is a great watch and its release made the Genta inspired design accessible to mainstream buyers. I chuckle at people who write I hate the watch…blah, blah, blah. Don’t buy one. Turn the dial so to speak. Tissot built the bandwagon and dozens of brands jumped on board — some better and some worse. Get over it.
I don't think I've seen anything coming close to "hate" for the PRX. I'm not a fan of the intergrated bracelet on any watch including my Casioak's but that's about as far as it goes for me. There's been some criticism of the movement but it's almost universally accepted to be best in its class. It's just not a class that suits everyone.
Interestingly I would disagree. I think the PRX is applauded on social media. Not sure I’ve seen anyone really bashing it. And even then, the hobby is about preference.
Nickelback sucks!
Nickleback get a bad rap, unfairly in my view.
Likewise the PRX, I like it but have no plan to get one.

I have a green PRX Powermatic 80 like the picture shows. Great watch. I'm too old to care what anybody thinks of my choices.
Not sure why you care so much. If we all liked the same things it would be a dull world.
I find the PRX bland looking and I'm not a fan of integrated bracelets. But that's just my opinion based on my tastes. Doesn't make it a bad watch, it's just not for me.

Not so much this. I have made a couple of posts and seen comments of “Throw it in the garbage”. So that’s more of where it comes from. Haha
Like what you like, ignore what everyone else thinks and be your own person. Doesn’t bother me if people don’t like the same things as me, would be rather boring if we all liked the same things, and wore the same watches.

The only other brand that comes to mind is Rolex.

I wouldn’t say that I care so much about it. I think Panerai is the ugliest watch brand on earth. It was more of an observation and statement of my own opinion on the matter. Feel free to hate it. 😂
