I saw that as well, but already have a Carrera and a Black Bay Chrono panda, so think I’m covered with chronographs. I’ve had that discussion with a friend today regarding the faux rivets, and I’ve actually grown to quite like them. Maybe just me!
It is perverse, the idea of having to beg to give a company thousands of £€$. Looking at Rolex in particular.
Completely understand, but this is not a Rolex situation, just me being impatient and wanting to make sure I get my hands on it as soon as it’s available, otherwise, not being close to the AD, it’ll just keep disappearing onto someone else’s wrist every time it comes into store. 👍
I’ve got to admit, I often find myself squinting at the dials nowadays. I suffer it though. I’m on the fence about thickness of watches as well, as I like them to fit nicely under my sleeve, but I like to feel some heft in the watch. It’s interesting how varied everyone’s tastes are and what aspects matter most to different people.
