Perfect dress diver?
I finally got my hands on a Lorier Neptune with date. It's been out of stock for months. I love dive watches and I've been searching for one with the right size and shape to work with a suit. I think this watch fits the bill.

I still find a date very useful in a work watch. Somehow I manage to forget the date three or four times a day and have to check again. Yes, I could check my computer or phone but that's not always as convenient.

I really like Lorier.
The design language is on point, the service is beyond good and I have a thing for acrylic crystals.
The way they take cues from classic mid century design without outright copying is homage in the true sense.

I like the big Crown. I don't find it digs into my wrist.
The dial is great, very clean and legible. I like the color scheme (black / white / gold). To me, another very likable feature is the with of the bezel, it matches the overall dressy design.
I have two diver's that play the part of the fancy desk diver watches. The first is the SPB147 with it nice chocolate sunburst dial and semi rustic look once it was fitted to a ColaReb Roma strap.
The second is the bronze Yema Superman which is (IMO) stunning with its applied gilt dial and red Bordeaux sapphire bezel insert.
If I didn't own them the Lorier would have been an immediate purchase.

How was the finishing on yours? I already requested a return to REPLACE, not refund. It's a gorgeous piece.

Yep. They were sold out for a long time. The date version was anyway.
