Hi everyone
Was at my AD yesterday picking up another watch and in the window they had the newly released Rolex Chellenge. Didn't think in my lifetime I will manage to see one of these. I was unable to handle it unfortunately as it was already reserved for someone to pick up but it was ridiculously massive. Can't imagine how someone could wear this 50mm and that's not including the thickness of it. Just want to know your thoughts on it and whether you would buy it and wear it if you could

Wow it's way Chonkier than the other pics I've seen, it looks, it looks like an Invicta! I read about some of the tech and specs which is pretty cool, if I could buy it I probably wouldn't because of the size.

I totally agree with you. After seeing it in the flesh. I can't see how anyone can wear it as it is so big and chunky
It's just too big for me. I don't think anyone (except for maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger) could pull this thing off without it looking hilarious. I guess it's more of a collector's item than a really wearable timepiece.
Agree this one is to collect more than wear. I know there’s a style to wear giant watches, but I’m neither young enough or good looking enough to pull that off!
Lack of creativity at its finest
Even too big for my 8” wrist.
But would it make my wrist look thinner? 😂😂🤪
I saw it the other day with @marioap and we are both pretty tall guys, but that watch has the size of a kitchen clock!
I have two Android (now Aragon) 50mm monsters that don't look bad on my 7.5" wrist. They are heavy and I don't wear them often because of that. I'd imagine this is heavier because I think it's taller.

Not only that, it's so thick..
I like big watches, but this is a bit too big
Kinda rediculous

THAT is massive! It looks way bigger than my Deep Sea.
It´s huge but the dial still looks tiny. For me it´s more a prototype, than a watch. Would never buy that ugly thing.

Yeah that is ridiculous
Yeah that is ridiculous
Just for context, this is what the big Tuna (52.4mm) looks like on my wrist
The Rolex actually wears bigger than the dimensions would suggest
It’s cool for its intentions. More of a collectors watch.

That's a big watch. The Rolex must be ridiculous on the wrist
They are made that big so divers can see it easier under water. LOL
No!

Made out of Titanium so going not going to be as heavy as you think
Might not look to crazy over a thick wetsuit.
My 45mm DOXAs look reasonably small with 6mm gauntlets over 8mm sleeves.
Tool watch on a whole nother level! Way too thick for my puny 6.25" wrist
Looks like a beast, my planet ocean at 45.5mm (pictured) takes some getting used to, especially after wearing something smaller. Not sure I could live with the Rolex, but I'd give it a good go😉
Looks more like a weapon than a watch 😏

😆 😂 😆 😂
Keep in mind it's designed to go on the arm - OF A SUBMARINE 🤣😂
It's a tool watch for the external bits of a sub.
It's like a Giant Gong!... But I get it. It's made for Professional Divers!
Hahaha. Yes I get its a divers watch. But would a diver really wear a £20k plus watch into the water?
