Timegrapher rabbit hole
Someone should have warned me. I bought a timegrapher and have gone down that rabbit hole. This is bad. Very bad. Surprising fact- my watches from the 90’s often run better than my newer watches.

Been collecting watches off and on since 1990. Love the German 3/4 plate watches and other “manufacture calibers”. A steel case with a beautiful movement is a sweet spot for me.

I’ve gotten much more enjoyment from many of my watches after tightening up their accuracy on the timegrapher. But, almost all the watches I’ve gotten recently haven’t needed any regulation. Enjoy!

I'll never get to make my mechanicals run as good as most of my quartz, but it is fun to get them as close as possible.

I check the watch I'm wearing at LEAST once a day against my radio controlled digital clock. 😅

I just want to mention it: you set the wrong lift angle. The Sellita SW220 which is being used in this Christopher Ward has a lift angle of 50°, not 52°
I put all my watches for check. after this you should buy case opener.
Wait till you open your Grand Seiko, because it's down 6.5s/day. Regulate it perfectly on the Timegrapher to -2 to +2s/day in various positions. Only to find out it's still -5s/day during not wearing it (12up position), and +5s/day while wearing it. What a nightmare.
But tbh. with the Watchcheck Android app i tracked the watch now for 14 days, and it's at +1,5s/day. :)
