Thank you!
I'll be honest I have a tough job. I can keep doing it for the money but I need a way to keep motivating myself and watches are pretty much the only way because I don't care for cars and I don't care for a big house. I'm still saving a good amount despite this potential purchase.
And I have investments that will only do well if things crash. So I'm like, might as well put some of the.money in watches since if things don't crash my watches will retain solid value, if they crumble due to the economy it means my investments are doing great lol
So in a way I create a positive spin on either scenario lol
I had bought a panerai from an AD who does zenith too in August. They could only do $6600 on the zenith + tax.
This AD is giving me $6200 including tax without any prior history with them..
This is not the type of watch I would be ok buying pre-owned due to two things:
1- The strap is a textile - I don't want someone else to have worn it
2- I love the display caseback and once you buy preowned that caseback is usually already a bit altered so that would remove a lot of the joy
Also I checked pre-owned for this model and they are more than I'm getting here lol.
The AD also does rolex and will put me on a wishlist for a pepsi, and despite that still is giving me the zenith for 6.2k including tax. That's over 20% off relative to msrp.
I also really like how calm this watch makes me feel (very unique feeling).
It's more on the accumulation of purchases that I am like "what am I doing?" Lol
