I hate it when this happen ๐Ÿ˜’

Today I got ready to work, got my usual stuff in the car and drove.... only to realise, in the middle of the trip, that I forgot to wear my watch. Yes I got annoyed, but I will make sure next time to wear my watch before I go to work

There is only one solution: new purchase in your lunch break!

ยท

But yes it's really annoying

ยท

Emergency trip to Costco at lunch time, they normally have some TAG Heuerโ€™ the odd Breitling. While youโ€™re there you can pick up some protein bars and some goodies for your fellow workers. You will feel great all afternoon ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

ยท

Amazes me folks take off watches at all. I've pretty much worn one continuously since the mid 1980's. Couldn't sleep with a naked wrist ๐Ÿคฃ

And after that, later at home: "Darling, you won't believe what happened to me today"

ยท

Meh, it's annoying the two times you go to check the time on an empty wrist (especially if people are watching) but I don't have an emotional dependency or any weird attachment.

ยท

Yeah this reminds me maybe I need a backup watch in the glove box!

ยท

Thankfully I now work from home. So a forgotten watch is only ever a few steps away.

ยท

Today your watch, tomorrow maybe your pants. Better go see a doctor ๐Ÿ™„

ยท

Never happened to me. I can imagine forget my shoes but not the watch ๐Ÿ˜

ยท

How many times did you look at your wrist instinctively only to see nothing?

ยท

Time to pop an emergency F-91W in the glovebox ;-)

ยท

This is why you need to keep a spare watch in your car's glovebox.

Should be like reading glasses! Have a few in places where you normally hang out, car/office. I like your thinking ๐Ÿ˜Ž

ยท

Time to head to Time Secret on your lunch break ๐Ÿ˜Ž Or maybe Rivoli. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Its killing me just by thinking about it โ˜น๏ธ

I once went to the corner shop without a watch on. It was one of the most horrific events of my life because I thought I'd lost my watch on the way when, in fact, I'd merely forgotten to put it back on after panning for gold in my cat's litter boxes.

For us watch collectors, it's like a horror true-story ๐Ÿ˜จ

Yeah, but it may get damaged by the extreme heat in summer

I used to keep a spare DW-5600E in the glove box, never had a problem.

ยท

I really want to, but I fear that the summer heat will damage my watch

I tried it before, but since I move a lot while sleeping, I woke up with scratches on my watch

I fear it to be a habit someday

streets are set up match a compass so looking south you can estimate time of day

ยท

Wow! That is exactly what happened to me today. To make matters worse, I kept checking my wrist for time only to find annoyance.

ยท

That is an amazing idea

ยท

Just buy a new one

๐Ÿ™‚ thanks, I will try this technique

Itโ€™s up there with finding that you forgot to drink your cup of tea and now itโ€™s gone cold.
