I'm with you, I feel the same about chronographs. I don't need a stop watch, they are more expensive, thicker and I love having a sweeping second hand. I have one gmt and one chronograph. I don't plan on buying others.
Wearing mine today. I absolutely love this watch. Strap monster, great quality, great price. If you haven't tried one of cws canvas straps, I highly recommend. Once they are broken in, molds perfectly to your wrist.
Amazing collection. I hope to get there one day. Maybe check our a Christopher Ward bel canto to spice things up
