Howdy, folks! Andre here. I work in the analog photography products industry and have always had an appreciation for the mechanical technology of yesteryear. As a proud member of the Itty Bitty Wrist Committee, my taste in watches leans toward vintage references and their modern re-issues/re-imaginations.
When I'm not scouring the internet for the next watch to add to my growing Wish List, I enjoy documenting my loved ones on black and white film. There's a wonderful sense of ownership and true creation from shooting, developing, and darkroom printing everything myself.
My go-to fun fact is that I have a mechanical aortic heart valve that ticks once per heartbeat. Sounds very much like a quartz watch! In a quiet room people standing next to me can hear it. Internally it's loud and noticeable to me, but most of the time my brain can tune it out.
I've made countless lifelong friends through the watch community, and look forward to many great conversations on this platform!
