Quick Timeline for Direnzo from when they left Kickstarter to basically now (With Pictures)

Sergio @direnzo just joined WC, it’s a real passion project for him with his family helping out. Met the guy twice at the DC Watch Show.

RZE wins on customer experience…I stupidly stripped a screw adjusting my bracelet and they offered to send me an entire new bracelet without missing a beat. Ironically I love wearing on my elite silicone from Barton.

I quite like these micro tournaments. Even if I vote one brand over another, I’m exposed to both brands and their offerings. Great job! Like here, I really like both brands’ designs but I voted RZE because it’s aligned with my tastes atm

Thank you! That is the goal.

Had to vote RZE...my favorite travel watch...super light full titanium...rugged...and just a gorgeous dial...

Have to go with RZE myself here, but for a different reason.

Owners other brand, HVD, makes a rather awesome, rather unique watch, that is only bested by a few other brands due to my personal tastes.

HVD Spectre Diver

HAND WOUND, non screw down, acrylic crystal, dive watch. Uses gaskets alone, like old school guys did at times.

Even though I went with RZE, a Direnzio is on my list.

I dig the dials and the lume.

Hot watches dude!

Oh likewise man! RZE has been on my list for a while. Just need an excuse to pull the trigger one of these days lol ✌️

·

Have to abstain on this one. Prefer RZE designs but have had horrible customer service experience with them.

·

Ah, modern RZE vs. avant-garde Direnzo. Just like the words suggest, Direnzo is ahead.

·

That RZE looks like a GS dial was grafted onto it. 🤨

Direnzo is doing creative stuff and the designer owner is a great guy by reputation- going Direnzo here!

·

I really like these close battles.

·

I love the unique direnzo case in the crowded microbrand space.

·

That's was quite difficult in choosing..

surprising result. I thought for sure it would go RZE

·

Easily the most difficult decision in this opening round. RZE and Direnzo are both putting out absolute bangers. RZE is making some of the best tool watches that are both durable and comfortable and Direnzo has their unique design language with higher end watches and movements. Absolutely love the Direnzo DRZ-06 Wandering Star design and the RZE Endeavour Vatnajokull. I’m voting RZE here because I love all of the watches I’ve gotten from them and I use their Hexedge knife on a daily basis as well as their carrying pouch when I travel. Both of these brands deserve to make it past the first round

I had to go with RZE, I have been stalking their offerings for a minute. I believe they represent a rugged outdoor vibe backed by their titanium offerings. However, in the design department, Direnzo so is highly appealing! With this said, I think RZE might slide here because they are proudly a tool watch. I would like to get a Direnzo... But was greatly disappointed that in 2024 I have to sort thru 20+ models that are "Sold Out" before seeing what's available, fix this issue and get a filter for the site, it's just to painful to buy direct.

Go to main page, and it only shows what’s available (very clear with a single large model picture as a link)

Too early to call it. At least another ~300 votes to go.

·

#rze got my vote, love their watches

·

I think that on all the votes I have been in the minority side of the vote.

I guess my tastes are, well, not the majority preference.
