My first was this Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. But I sold it a while ago.
This Invicta Grand Diver was my first automatic.

A Phoibos submariner homage, long since gifted to a nephew.
The SNK was the first mechanical. It was my gateway watch.
My Invicta Pro Diver 8926, which has been utterly reliable.
SNK361. I fell out of love with it eventually and it then became the first watch I modded to reignite the flame.

My first was my 30th birthday present from my wife.

Aug 17, 2019 was the day I bought my first mechanical watch and this is the pic of me puting it on after officially handing over my CC.
My Seiko was the first. Felt amazing walking out of the store with it.

This was purchased off Ebay and was probably someone's mod project. I don't know if the dial is original but it had seamaster hands which definitely weren't. Now it is my mod project, waiting for a dial and hand swap.

Kidding aside, I am ambivalent about Seiko recent attempt to go upscale. I mean, good for them. But I do miss those $30 automatic watches. I got 2 or 3 (one I gifted away, so don't know if that count). One died just because. One I flayed open to inspect (if memory works, to prevent fate of the 1st one; the operation brought forth the demise of 2nd one; oh well, road to hell and good intentions). Would never do that to a $100 watch 😜.
My first auto was the Orient Kamasu. Love at first sight.
I got this on the market place a little less than a year ago. I got this a blue one. The blue one is on a brown leather strap on my sons night stand. Both where new and I paid a total of $120.

Thanks for the input. Interesting to see the varity from Rolex, Certina, Rado, Sekio and a defender 2. I have a defender 1, which if my memory serve me right was my second automatic watch. Again thanks for the inputs.
