Baltic Boiz
I hereby decree a new watch faction to rise up. THE BALTIC BOIZ (BOIZ being a unisex term).
After seeing @Campbelll post about his new Aquascaphe and the reaction to it I feel like there is a enough of a fan base to support this movement. I mean for crying out loud they have a perpetual calendar now.
This French brand is a new powerhouse and deserves their ascension to the realm of at least the independent level. Can’t wait to see what they will do.

It’s their only watch for this year! Take a look at their website. It has a in house module I believe sooo unbelievably clean. Wish it was for the masses!
I have to say, these Baltic watches are quite attractive! I like the breguet numerals one. The small seconds sub dial feels weirdly in a nice place at the 7 o clock position.

As soon as mine gets on wrist, I’ll be putting out my initial thoughts! As someone who only (really) knows watches in a virtual format, I will do my best to review it as professionally as possible lol

I've been weighing my mind on getting one of these a year now... Think I just might! That's a gorgeous Frikken watch!
Super impressed with the watch-head. I have to say though, the bracelet absolutely comes short. The end-link-fit is horrible, there is a huge gap… The rest of the bracelet is ok but the clasp is very sharp, I had to sand it down a bit. I guess I could just put it on a nice leather strap but I love the look of it on the beads of rice… I wonder why nobody reported on that before but those end links are really some of the worst I‘ve experienced :(

So Baltic mainly plays in that sub 1000 zone so I would say it is above average in that regard. The big thing for me is the design. All their watches aren’t direct homage of one single watch, but a amalgamation of multiple different vintage watches, and their own design. Making Baltic its own gorgeous brand haha
Yeah, I kinda like theblok of the blancpain but they are massive and the bathyscaphe doesn't really do it for me. The ocean commitment version gets closest to what I like, but it's $20k!! I'm not gonna drop that kinda cash for "I like it". I think I'm gonna get that blue dial diver. It's a beauty.
