Sometimes you do wonder what the marketing teams are thinking.....
She isn't very relevant. They could have done better! ๐
**Edit
Ambassadors are one thing, but an 'X' collaboration is totally different.
If it were Dior, Cartier, Versace or the like of a fashion power house I could understand it, but this is Victoria Beckham.
Let's wait for the 'X' David Beckham Tudor Black bay 58, as that's what I can see next! ๐
This account is verified. WatchCrunch has confirmed that this account is the authentic presence for this person or brand.
They're thinking "cash grab"
Very "Posh" ๐๐
Vicky is never irrelevant.

I have to disagree. She's very relevant, both in terms of fashion/style and she has quite a collection of watches.
Been thinking about getting a chronomat. Depending on the pricing, just might be the one
I suspect I'm not their target market.
She's still pretty relevant, and dudes are clearly not the target audience.
Wasn't there just a series about her husband and her on Netflix recently?

If there was a Netflix documentary, I'll bet it showed their marriage as...meh. No wonder she doesn't look happy in ANY picture of her & David within the past 5 years or so.

I have no idea, I don't follow celebrities at all. I just noticed a lot of memes recently with them, and someone mentioned it was from a new show.
I donโt think weโre the target demographic here dude. I get the feeling she has a pretty fair stock of celebrity, certainly more than I do, and making this watch doesnโt change the rest of the watches in the brand.
The Super Ocean is still available, as is the Avenger and Navitimer.

I don't follow celebs either. Just being observant with the Victoria Beckham search results.
Kinda like it ๐
Sporty Spice should make a G-Shock collab now to see which one sells better.
This only adds to my feeling that Breitling is a "try hard" brand. Nothing wrong with the quality or technology, but some of their stuff just hits me in the same way as a lot of the over-the-top Invicta watches.
Interesting to see how mixed the response has been to this, especially amongst Breitling fans. I can see why they've done it though, as they've worked so hard on making watches attractive to women, despite the brand's heritage of huge bulky watches.

How many mainstream brands have done an 'X' collaboration with a designer.....
There are ambassadors, but don't remember many 'X' collabs??
Actually Breitling x Tudor would be interesting
๐ this wreaks of lack of effort
And I like Breitling, I mean I think I do, I know I used to, ah man what are they doing
So are Michael Kors, Armani and Hugo Boss. You wouldn't find many watch enthusiasts queueing up to buy them unless they are something special. Ambassadors are one thing, but actually brining an 'X' calibration with someone is totally different.
Except those brands use cheap quartz movements in basic/boring cases. Are you suggesting that Breitling has gone that route entirely because Victoria Beckham is involved in the design process for a limited edition?

They are using her name to sell watches.
The design hasn't changed, just different dial colours.....
I would bet a large chunk of cash that the only input she might of had was the colour and if madame likes it.
Other than that she is just getting paid so they can use the Beckham brand to shift some watches.
I don't have an issue with it, but for some that think this is something special need to give their heads a wobble! ๐

Agreed, but this is a person with their own fully fledged fashion brand under teh same name, so is this with the person or the brand or both? I think that's why they've done it this way.
I mean, it's a step up from women in skimpy shorts at air races.
I mean let's be honest would you like it more if it was called the Taylor Swift. ๐
11k production cost at most and selling for almost 30 ๐ฅบ

Nope!
I actually think the look great and have retained the Breitling DNA. I have had several Female 'Watch' Friends who have contacted me, because of my love for Breitling, to say they would 'Jump Ship' from their usual brands. Surely that cannot be a bad thing?
That green pops, the blue is stunning and the grey is very classic. No, despite my initial reaction, I like them and more interest in the brand is, on this occasion IMHO, a good thing. Good Job Mr Kern, good job fella. ๐

Love her or hate her, she has helped in the designs of many things including the Range Rover. So yes, I would assume she was consulted before putting her name to this. Not a fan of hers in anyway, but I could think of worse collaborations and I genuinely think the watches look great. If they help steer a different demographic towards the brand, all well and good. Watches look great, interest seems to be high. It has not cheapened the brand in anyway.... IMHO. Relax.
If it only takes one watch to fall out of love with a brandโฆ
