I do like those elements of the current line as well, but as you said, would look out of place on this design. The Pointer Date range offers many great options for almost all size and color desires, plus some bronze mixed in there too for different case materials.
Ultimately, this was still the one for me, though I really like many of the regular choices. The center seconds hand on the standard may have been okay in practice but I am quite pleased with this one. New movement is a joy too. Love that Oris offers great options at many price points!
If they made this as a two hander plus the pointer date, that would’ve been perfect. As is, this was the best pointer date for me. But great point about being cleaner. Do you like the standard pointer date?
I like that they’re bold and polarizing with their designs. I only like certain ones. However, that design means that they’re taking risks and doing the right things. When I saw that Mosaic dial, I knew I had to get one. Has some of their design choices like no printing on the dial and fume. But then also that GS-like dial pattern.
