Two accessibly priced versions of new GS movements

Now, by accessible, I mean not a 50k limited edition. Yes, the SLGA007 5 day Spring Drive is a limited edition, but it’s the first more accessible ver...

Congrats on both! The new case style is really good.

I think they’re great. Would love to see a no date version and no running seconds for an ultra clean and classic look, but I’ll take this as a good start. Part of the reason I sold my 176 titanium was the size. Now have a Radiomir 1940 574 at 42mm on my 6.75” wrist and it’s perfect. I think these will wear well on a a variety of wrists at 40mm!

Totally agreed both are excellent! The white birch is on my list for sure!

You can eat ramen for a few months. The kids can too. 😜

I think you’ll love it. Honestly, the newer movements will almost double the price, so enjoy this one. I was surprised by the way it wore (so well!), and the bracelet has microadjust, unlike most GS bracelets.

This review I just found searching says more than I can about it. I really do like this line and think they’re great watches for everyday use.

I personally wouldn’t wait. I’ve tried that watch on and was worried about the thickness in specs, but in practice on the wrist, it wears well. Seeing as they just released that within the past year or two, I’m not sure it’ll get the new movement any time soon, and even if/when it does, it’ll be more expensive.

So, I say go for it! Enjoy it!

Yes, this is quite an interesting design. I like the direction that they have been heading. You can still tell that it is their design, even with the revisions that they have been making.
