Most faked watches other than Rolex?

While we all know Rolex is the biggest target for fake watches, I wonder, given increasing popularity of watches in general, have other brands also become targets?

Both WatchFinder and Wristcheck have done YT videos on Patek Phillip fakes. WatchFinder has also done one on Omega. My guess is that these and AP are pretty high up there.

Panerai, Cartier, Patek, AP almost all luxury brands are the target of counterfeiters

Panerai too! ;)

Just kidding, love em a good radiomir!

Casio is high up on the list. If you believe all those Sports Watch and other slightly renamed G-shock imitations are "faked." No pride here, but I have a Skmei imitation of a black metal g-shock square and that kind of thing is all over the internet stores. Buyer beware though: the experience wasn't great since 2 different sellers promised me a different color.

All the ones mentioned, Panerai and Cartier are up there, but I would through Seiko in the mix too. Pretty sure there are more fake SARB17s than real in circulation. Sadly, one does not have to look to far to see just about every popular brand that cant be easily detected are being knocked off.

·

Tag Heuer.

Funny story: I was on holiday a few years ago, on an airboat tour in the Everglades. Our guide was a nice enough chap but we got chatting and I noticed he was wearing a fake Tag. I was wearing a real one, he noticed and tried covering his up every time we spoke. 😆

Seiko, Citizen and Casio (no kidding, turns out there's a market for lower price bracket forgeries timepieces too).

·

Plenty of fake G-Shocks out there too.

·

Used to be Panerai and Breitling but these days see a lot of bad Omegas.

So I don’t know if this is true, but when visiting the Reverso exhibit in NYC, they mentioned the Reverso has never been faked as it’s too complicated.

·

Most luxury brands and also Casio believe it or not.

·

Given how empty the Vacheron display cases were the other day, I imagine they’re faked frequently as well. They always fake the popular watches.

·

How about "least" faked 🤣

I read something similar, but recently noticed there’s a fake/homage(didn’t look very close at the logo) Reverso available on AliExpress for about $1,000

·

What's a shame is I have came acrossed a fake Michael Kors. They will fake anything to make a buck.

·

I love my new 'Roleks.' Surprisingly, 1) They were immediately available. And 2) I paid less than I thought I would.

😂🤒😂

·

People also copied Casio & G-Shock then put SKMEI & Digitec brands on them, so i guess we got "homage" instead of "fake"

·

A related question would be - which watches / brands are least likely to be faked?

It has to be those that are complication rich and have unique movements (even better with caseback display).

·

Casio, apparently. Lol

Dude - there is no end to this. They "fake" microbrands, megabrands, anything that will sell.

I won't admit to anything, but I have seen firsthand "replicas" of the MoonSwatch that are pretty much dead-on copies...same for the Scuba Fifty Fathoms. If they are copying "plastic watches"...

They have faked even "watch geek" brands like C.F. Bucherer...just take a look on Aliexpress.

If they are going to fake inexpensive Seikos and MoonSwatches...nothing is sacred.

I imagine the only watches that cannot be faked are super high horology independents where the technology is just too costly for the small numbers they will sell (this should give you pause to think about the relative lack of complexity in Rolex watches...any machine can build them given the right instructions).

Audemars Piguet watches are knocked off a lot. Also Breitling.
