Longines Master Collection Moonphase

By far my prettiest watch. It’s not an every day watch, that’s for sure, but I find myself picking it up and looking at it all day anyway. This is the 40 mm version.

What do you think of such a dress watch?

Very nice. What was the damage?

I am quite familar with the Longines catalogue, admit this model is not one that I have seen before! It is like so many Longines watches, under rated and just magnificent in my opinion. Actually am familar but when I was shopping for one did not want the extra stop watch function. Imagine that watch in rose gold!!

I have this same one, love it! Looks good dressed up but also casual T-shirt and jeans. Problem is I find myself constantly looking at it when I’m wearing it!

·

Saving up for the blue dial on the bracelet. Very classy.

·

Very nice! I find the moon phase complications so interesting and cool. Wear it in good health.

I had a chance to see this model at a watch get together at the beginning of the year, and was extremely impressed with it. Very impressive that they can incorporate a triple calendar, moon phase and chrono in a single watch that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The Longines Master Collection has some real sleepers in it. A local AD had one of these second hand for $2K. I purposely avoided going over there until it was sold 😂😂

·

I've just been updating my wants list. I culled a few, but this one stays. It's a lot of watch for the money and I can't wait to get one👍

Indeed, the complications and the blue hands made it my grail and in a couple of years I bought one

For £975 that's a no brainer, especially considering a recent service. I would snap up a deal like that in a heartbeat, even though I'm trying to not grow my collection. Congratulations on a great deal on a great watch!

Thank you! I haven’t regretted getting it but wish I still owned the Master Longines!

·

I'd call that an everyday watch imo and not really just a dress watch . . . def has versatility esp. if you stick it on distressed leather.

·

I’m planning on getting this sometime this year. A quick question on the maintenance and setting. Do you have to wind this watch everyday? Also what’s the initial setup time including the moon phase and other complications.

I’m actually planning to sell mine, in case you’re interested in buying it off me. You don’t have to wind the watch every day as the power reserve keeps it running.

The initial setup time is about a minute.

Let me know if you’re interested in buying mine
