Which One Should I Sell?

Image

Been collecting these since 2018 and not sure which one to let go? They have all seen significant increase in value but not sure I can sell any of them. Waiting to see what happens at Watches and Wonders in April in case any of them are discontinued. The CHNR (Batman) gets the most wear and just picked up the VTNR (Sprite) last month and still trying to figure out how to wear it!

I would keep the batgirl and the sprite if I could only keep 2.

·

Batgirl*.. sell the lefty.

·

Keep the Rootbeer. Two-tone is better than stainless steel

·

As much as I want and love the Rootbeer, you should keep the Batgirl and Sprite and sell the twotone.

·

Why are you looking to sell one?

·

If I didn’t have to I’d keep all 3. If I had to get rid of one, based on my tastes, it’s a the steel with blue bezel. I like green and I like Rolex green, plus that rootbeer is a fantastic watch and rich in color.

·

Keep the Batman & Rootbeer. The left handed versions have always bothered me.

·

Sell the Sprite, still can't get used to this inverted case design they made

·

The sprite would be my' let go'...it seems you already know that from the way you can't figure out how to wear it 😜

·

Well firstly, bravo for having a fantastic three Rolex GMT collection!

If it were me, i'd also have trouble deciding. I absolutely love the Sprite, so that's an easy "keep" decision. I'm not the biggest fan of the Rootbeer, but keeping the two steel options doesn't seem right.

I think overall, i'd have the Rootbeer and the Sprite.

Best of luck with your decision.

I'd keep the Batgirl and Root Beer.

·

Based on my taste, I’d sell the rootbear, and keep the Batgirl and sprite

·

Green one

·

Sell the sprite

·

I'd sell the rootbeer. My bias, not really a fan of two-tone.

·

Batman. The ither two are more interesting.

·

Sell the lefty

·

The Sprite is nothing more than a novelty; it'll never be in the same league as the other two for me.

·

That’s a hell of a problem to have😂I would just keep them! No way I could make that decision.

·

Bye bye Sprite

·

Will keep them all for the short term but keeping all of them for the long term does not make a lot of sense - even though they are different enough that I could justify it. I just got an Oyster bracelet that I put on the Batman and I really like it - makes it look like a Submariner! I will see what, if anything, is accounced in April at W&W.

·

I would just keep the rootbeer and diversify the collection. what's the point of having 3 of the same watches? Actually, personally I would sell all three and get some nice watches but I am assuming that (1) you are hellbent on keeping at least one of them and (2) being that you have 3 identical rolexes you wouldn't venture outside of this brand.

·

Thanks everybody for weighing in. I have a handful of other watches worth mentioning including a JLC, Tudor, Omega(s), and Grand Seiko. Also have a couple Baume & Merciers, Seikos and Casios - too many if I am being honest! The ones I am interested in selling are the ones with little to no market value. Some time over the next 5 years I will start thinning down the collection and just thinking ahead! Cheers

Smart move my friend the few the better same here what I’m doing thinning my collection.
