This is one of the watches that I would consider buying if I had the money. I have seen all sorts of luxury watches on this site but never the Rolex Sky-Dweller.
Hey luxury Crunchers and Rolex fans and lovers, what do you think of this watch? Do you have one? How do you like it?
Just asking๐

Gorgeous! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐
Thanks for posting. I love the fluted day/date, but now I remember I love this one more! However, no money for it. Great looking watch.
This would be the Rolex of my choice. I was gifted this ๐คฃ
In my opinion, this is the perfect mix of Rolex. Dressy like a DateJust, but sporty like a Sub or a GMT Master. Also one of the coolest and most unique Rolex's. However, my only issue is the size. At 42mm diameter, 51mm lug to lug and 14mm thick, this is not a small watch and I don't know if I could pull it off on my 7" wrist.
I think the concept for the Sky-Dweller is great, but the size is just too big for a DJ/DD case. If that doesnโt bother you, power to ya.

You're welcome!๐
Easily my favorite Rolex
It's the only Rolex that interests me. I love the blue dial version, but I could never justify spending that much on a watch. At least I got to try one.
I love it, I think it is the best and although not a Rolex hater there are better and cheaper watches out there. But exceptions for the Sky Dweller. Alas will never be able to afford one.
Have you seen this anywhere in the Tampa area? Mayors, Old Northeast, etc? I think I may want to scout that one out!
Wow that looks fantastic! I wish they made a steel variant
My local ad let me try this two tone champagne dial.

Actually, I haven't been inside luxury retail watch stores in the Tampa area. I need to start doing so๐
Isnt saving the money for a Roley the easy part? Nice looking watch, I get why you like it.
Definitely my favorite Rolex
The "command bezel" is one of the coolest things I've seen in watch interfaces.

International Plaza is starting to feel like Las Vegas with a large number of luxury watch boutiques having popped up since the pandemic. Most recently Omega opened its doors there.
Been on the list for over 1yr for the white dial , certainly a unique way to set them using the bezel and crown

Really? Oh man! I haven't been to that mall in a while because I would always find it kind of empty but I will go ahead and check it out and report back๐
I put myself on the list for a green dial Skydweller earlier this year. It's my perfect Rolex in that I don't like Mercedes hands but love the fluted bezel and the fact it's rarely talked about puts it at an advantage for me. I am not really a Rolex guy but I do want one in my collection, so it needs to be my favourite. I had a message to go to the store to test try one on, and I am looking forward to that.
I hope that you like the test try! Hope you can get your green dial Skydweller soon!๐
Have you seen it in person though? It is HUGE, like a water meter. You need a 8+ inch wrist to pull off.

Hey, I actually do have an 8 inch wrist so yeah, I can pull it off if I had the money for that beast of a watch๐๐

Oops, hit the "Send" button too soon. No, I haven't seen it in person yet. One day I will๐
Indeed find the GMT complication on the Skydweeler to be a true creative approach, making the dial that much more interesting while still retaining elegance. Both the blue and the green variants are lookers, a worthy grail pieces!
I donโt like the center 24 hour dial, never have, but damn thatโs a beautiful watch. Canโt afford any Rolexes though, a stretch to even buy the OP or a smooth bezel DJ.
Iโve been smitten by the design of the SD since itโs introduction. Itโs unique movement with crown and bezel setting function make it technically appealing as well. In this particular configuration, itโs truly beautiful. My only complaint is size. Anything past 40mm is simply to big for me.
I thought it was so cool when I first saw it. But itโs too big, too expensive, and I ainโt playing Rolex games to get one. So weโll just move on.
Too flash for 42mmโฆ
