Cartier Tank Must too small?

Very simple question: is the Cartier Tank Must too small for my wrist? My sweet spot is usually 42mm, but I do wear 40 regularly. Love my reverso, but this seems very, very dainty… thanks for your inputs!

On a relate note, I prefer the red (big wine enthusiast), the Misses adores the blue and it might be shared…

I think it fits your wrist very well. Looks very stylish together with the suit.

·

Looks good and it sounds like you are getting the blue.

·

If anything a couple of mm smaller would be good! But no it looks great.

I posted earlier in the week - in the U.K. at least the steel one is back in all three colours. You could get red green and blue for £9k!

Looks great. Not too small in my opinion

·

It looks great

The watch looks the right size, it’s the man that’s too large for it. Kidding.

Looks fine. I like the blue one with the suit.

Looks awesome.

On the contrary this looks a bit on the bigger side (perhaps angle) but Cartier Tank is supposed to ne small and the smaller it is the classier it looks - generally 23x30 works perfect or 25.5 x 33 - anything bigger and you kill the vibe of Cartier - then it looks like any other big rectangular watch - The red looks great but this one seems XL? or is it Large? Size-wise the blue one looks perfect

·

This is a good size. Don't get a bigger one if you ask me.

·

If that is your wrist - it is fine... personally, the blue would be my choice. Beautiful watch, Cartier doesn't get enough love.

·

It wears like it's supposed to wear. Just depends on whether you like the look.

·

Perfect fit!

·

Yeah, it looks small. I looked at the wrist shot and thought, looks okay, then the body shot, which from that vantage definitely looks small.

·

A tank should look small, it's part of the style. It takes a bit of getting used to after you buy it, but it starts really making sense

·

I think the blue one looks perfect!

·

Looks great on your wrist, to play both sides, I’d actually go with the blue if you wear a navy or dark suit more often, if you typically wear lighter colored suits or are tad more casual, I’d go for the red.

·

Nope, looks awesome! Loving that red for something a little off the beaten path!

·

Looks like the proportions it's supposed to have. It probably just feels really different than what you're used to.

·

In my opinion the watch looks good on your wrist but your pants are too big!

·

Looks class 👌🏻

·

Would you benefit from a longer strap? Personally I always felt a longer strap to accommodate a smaller watch case to fit more comfortably on a thicker wrist also minimized the civilized look desired for.

·

Thanks everyone for your much appreciated feedback; you’ve convinced me!

I had my heart set on the red, but I did, indeed, get the blue!

And so I did!

And so I did!

Congrats are in order then.

No, it's not too small.

And even if it were, it's a Cartier Must. The epitome of style.

Wear it proudly and often. Cheers! 🍻
