What straps for the speedy
I've been thinking of trying a leather strap or two on my speedy to see if it wakes it up for me a lil......any recommendations?

Definitely leather. A vintage brown would look brilliant IMO.
NASA hook & loop (velcro) are easy to find & look good.
Forstner Komfit, highly recommended & authentic.
NATO's always look good.

I did a brown alligator leather on mine and I like it a lot.

Honestly, virtually any strap will look good on a Speedy. When mine is not on the bracelet I tend to wear it on the REM leather strap more often than other straps.
The Artem sailcloth with white stitching is incredible. They also offer the "Omega" style clasp. As good as the OEM (a bit cheaper though)

Seconding a sailcloth strap, I think it'd go quite well!

Great suggestion! ... I put a similar one on my "Speedy Homage" and it really "classed-up" the look! I love it!
Brown or tan rally strap is the move.

I wear mine on the "aligator" it came with years ago - but also sometimes a black Nato. But its hard to go wrong with any strap, with the Speedmaster.

Alligator, Artem or Crown and Buckle... OEM/Australia/Internet in that order...
Zero-Pass NATO from Anachronist (Burgundy) and the Flat Link from Forstner. I love them both. I also have the mesh link from Forstner on summer days.

I have always thought this distressed leather nato would look awesome, or a B&R Bands Vintage Rally Strap is amazing!

I find the Artem strap superior to the Omega strap it copies. The grain of the sailcloth lines up nice and straight on the Artem. It’s slanted on the Omega.
