I found the original bracelet!

After owning the 1962 Hamilton Gary for over a year, I went on Ebay and triumphantly won then bidding war for the original bracelet. Sometimes getting a new bracelet/strap for a watch tricks my brain into thinking I got a new watch without breaking the bank!

Love the bracelet. It really makes that a show piece.

Interesting name "Gary", it was completely invented for cowboy/actor Frank Cooper.

A good find. Patience often pays off as I can’t imagine there is stiff competition for these fairly unique items. There will be few looking and even fewer who time it right.

Good to see it united with the watch.

What a beautiful piece, and on that bracelet...👌

I can't imagine that bracelet comes up for auction very often, so I'd have made darn sure to pay top dollar as well. Really looks great! 👍

Nice find!

100% new straps or braclets are a cheaper way to scratch the itch of a new watch.

·

. . . Forgot to say, it looks great too

·

Bravo on reuniting the original design! Looks amazing 🤩

·

Awesome. I can’t even count the hours I spent looking for original bracelets. Fortunately, my Gary came with the bracelet.

My OCD driven penchant for original bracelets applauds your perseverance.

I have spent ridiculous amounts of time and money on technically inferior, yet model correct, bracelets with no hope that I will stop doing so anytime soon.

Well done!

Why don’t they make bracelets like this anymore? Some vintage bracelets are incredible
