Celebrating Turning 40 Years Old! 🥳
Commemorating a milestone in my life where perspectives shift and new intentions are set, this watch connected with me and this moment of turning 40 so perfectly. After years of going back and forth on which panda or reverse panda to eventually get, I was intrigued with the announcement of the glassbox series Carreras that Tag Heuer announced last year. With this significant birthday approaching, I finally had a reason to check it out in person to see if it would be THE panda/rev-panda I would get and seeing it in person this past weekend was love at first sight.
In addition, this watch celebrates a significant moment in my career where I feel my contributions to an industry and my company are being recognized and appreciated. I won’t go into details, but there is a symbolic design on the watch dial that references a recognizable logo from my company. For such a storied line of watches that dot history that also introduces a new way of melding modern material/construction techniques, the watch harkens to a respected heritage AND leans into the future’s bright possibilities. It will always be a reminder for me to do the same as I approach a new era in my life.

THANK YOU to everyone in this great community for all the celebratory greetings! I really do appreciate it. I just spent my first ‘week on the wrist’ and it has been a pleasure to wear. As a daily, this would be great due to the reasonable weight, lack of scratching on a traditional bezel from sleeves/pockets, and 100m WR. Have a great holiday for those celebrating!
