I too love that watch, but can’t seem to justify that type of purchase. This is what I got to scratch that itch and it’s my favorite in my collection.

Just save and wait for the real deal, any cheap clones won’t scratch the itch and will take away a little of the expectation and Satisfaction of this great design

My opinion, - Save you coin until you can afford the SM. It may take a while. But in the end, you'll be much happier.

I have this watch and love it, so I’d recommend trying to save up! Maybe a Glycine combat sub though, that could be a good affordable alternative

Love this NTTD variant, but could never ever justify having that budget.

Trying them at an AD is the cloest I’ve ever gotten to having one.

I decided to get a 2531.80 instead. At only a fraction of the price, I feel this is the definitive piece of Bond.

I too lusted over the NTTD Seamaster. I went to my local AD, tried it on and was heart broken that I couldn’t take her home with me. I did however noticed that the hands just didn’t do it for me, just something about them. (The Bond tax didn’t help either.) I eventually got my hands on a different Titanium Seamaster but this one is perfect. Absolutely love the sword hands!!! I haven’t thought about the NTTD until now. It’s a beautiful piece, but no longer on my radar.

Just got mine last week - Absolutely worth it - About the design I believe there is an Oris that comes on a Nato strap only with pettina beige hour markers like this one that i found to be closest to this model in terms of look and feel - On a more affordable front I suggest looking at some old Soviet or Chinese military watches - they have a similar vintage military watch vibe
